DICE has released a bunch of new details about the last Battlefield 3 DLC: End Game. The new video shows off the new bikes in the game, the new screenshots show the new maps and environments, and finally, we’ve got some more details about the DLC itself.
First of all, the End Game will feature 4 new maps. They are called Operation Riverside, Kiasar Railroad, Nebandan Flats, and Sabalan Pipeline. Two of the maps will be heavily focused on motorcycles, with several spots where players can use to make huge jumps, according to DICE. In fact, DICE dedicated a whole blog post just about the bikes and jumping ability in End Game. You can read it here.

EA France’s Battlefield 3 TV segment got a chance to visit the guys at DICE and check out the work on the upcoming DLC, Battlefield 3 Armored Kill. While the video above is in French, the interview itself is in English, so you’ll understand most of it. Basically, Armored Kill is about the “epic scale of Battlefield”, as lead designer Niklas Fergaus puts it. Armored kill will include 4 new maps and half a dozen new vehicles. We also get the names of the 4 maps in the new DLC: Death Valley, Bandar Desert, Almorz Mountain (the snow map!), and Armored Shield. Check out the first two screenshots of the Armored Shield map after the break, in full 1080p of course. READ ON »
A Photoshop freak by the name Kyle Wright made not one amazing Battlefield 3 wallpaper, but a whole set. Clearly a lot of work went into this, photographing the subjects, adding the effects, and the sheer amount of photo-manipulation that needs to get done before the desire effect is achieved. But enough talk, go ahead and check out the full gallery.
Caspian Border, still one of the most popular Battlefield 3 maps, meets Minecraft, still one of the most popular indie games out there. Created by user “Mzone” the Minecraft edition of Caspian Border is a complete recreation and the attention to details is impressive. Make sure to check out the large version for the full effect!
The massive AC-130 gunship was a big surprise for many players when it was spotted in the Battlefield Premium trailer, some didn’t even believe it was real. Now we know it’s real: the Battlefield 3 AC-130 gunship will be part of the Armored Kill DLC, which will also include some of the biggest maps in the Battlefield franchise. The first Battlefield 3 AC-130 screenshots have leaked, showing the gunship, a map, and the user interface/view when inside the gunship. It’s unknown if the player will control the gunship itself, whether it’ll fly on autopilot, or if a dedicated pilot is required and a teammate manning the guns. We’ll have to wait and see. Head on after the break for a couple of screenshots. READ ON »

With the release of the new trailer for Battlefield 3 DLC Close Quarters, half a dozen screenshots were released as well. One screenshot in particular stands out, showing before and after images of the new “destruction HD”.
Get the screenshots while you can, EA and DICE could still claim a copyright infringement against BF3Blog, like they did yesterday.
MTV got their hands on the official box art for the upcoming three Battlefield 3 DLCs: Close Quarters, Armored Kill, and End Game. While the box art (found by the guys over at MTV) isn’t of any great quality, we do get a sense of what’s in store for us. The first DLC, Close Quarters, will be released in June, with the other two in the second half of 2012. There have been some rumors that the third DLC, “End Game”, will be set in Vietnam. But that’s pure speculation at this point.
