BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Battlefield 3 will feature a fully fledged singleplayer campaign, which will span from Iraq/Iran, to Paris, France, and to New York City as well.
The first portion of the campaign is set on the border of Iran/Iraq, and has the player assuming the role of Sgt. Black, who is part of a Marine unit that is tasked on a mission to investigate possible insurgents, when your squad comes under fire. Here’s the first 12 minutes of the campaign in Battlefield 3:

most people would hate that a nine year old plays Bf2, but i recall being 9 when it first came out, and i loved every minute of it, battlefield 1942 was probably one of the first video games i ever played.

agreed. modern warfare 2 feels boring with all the killstreaks that break my KD ratio (cmon, 5 consecutive deaths by harrier, pavelow, and 3 times by AC130?), dropshooting, noobtubing, and camping that breaks the experience. battlefield looks, sounds, and feels promising. im 14 year old btw

I have played every battlefield game up until this one, just got it three days ago, i love it. CoD will never out do six games and numerous expansion packs that have provided and will provide excellent multiplayer gameplay since the 1942 game, by the way did you ever play any of teh mod modes for 1942?

Haha I used to play Battlefield Vietnam and 2 on my dad’s super computer all the time with him. It’s really fascinating to compare BF2 with BF3, just to see how much the series has improved since the good ‘ol days. I liked the Bad Company series, but it didn’t feel like an all out battlefield game. They got rid of a lot of little things like prone, jets, and the annoying “ENEMY BOAT SPOTTED ENEMY SPOTTED ENEMY SPOTTED ENEMY BOAT SPOTTED” spamming…ahh….so many memories…but anyways Battlefield 3 is definently going to set the benchmark for modern shooters. Looks awesome

I am a cod fan but i sure as hell would like to have any bf game to play on, in my opinion the battlefield series is 1000 times better than cod(with all those quickscopers, dropshooter, noobtubers and stuff that they call “Skill” better than teamwork), and when BF3 and MW3 will come out i do not care about what MW3 has to offer ill go straight for BF3 because i rly whant to play as part of a team not go gunsblazing like in cod + bf3 got vehicles and i love driving vehicles in video game

I’m 14 and I’ve never heard of battlefield until Battlefield BC2 came out, and I only saw a couple of scenes from the first BC2 trailer when I first noticed Battlefield. My whole life I’ve been a Die hard CoD fan. I’ve been playing CoD since Call of Duty 2 came out (A LONG time ago). My friends only played CoD and I didn’t have a console, so I played CoD with them. I became an addict that’s been high on CoD for 5 years. That’s right, I was a drop-shooting, quickscoping, killstreak hogging-complainer. This all ended when I played MW2 and decided to find another game. So I was looking in the PS store for free games or betas, and I found the BF:1943 beta. I liked the game and bought it. I played it a lot and became an expert on patience with the sniper rifle (it took me several days to realize bullet drop). I still didn’t know what battlefield was and I just thought they made a 1 time low graphics good game that a lot of people play. A little later I realized BC2 was a very good game through watching some epic trailers (the vehicles got me). I quit CoD cold turkey and bought BC2 and instantly became the most patient wookie team player ever. I spot people THEN SHOOT, not vice versa. I WARN my teammates if there’s a guy coming or something. I get KILLS! I watch not only my mates, but myself too! I look around, I don’t just tunnel vision! So the truth of the matter is, I am now a BF die hard… I never knew BF was from my country, Sweden.

I started playing bf 1942 when I was maybe around 8 , but only single player. Then when f 2 was released I started playing online so I understod what I did.
I also bothers me on people (no matters age) thats want some vehicles and then not can drive it (such as airplanes, for example, be regular ground infantry and lets us do the job!! idiots…..)
the best whit bf unlike cod are the vehicles and that you can play for a while instead of someone throwing a grenade at you after 3 seconds.
I will be ready to support ground units in all ways from the air when bf3 released:)

I have something to admit I have never played bf Ive played Cod and realized… I didnt buy my ps3 to play Cod only so recently I saw the bf3 trailers and I’ve been hooked ever since… Seeing Bf3 questioned me even getting Mw3… Some Cod fanboys aren’t all bad like me lol
What it needs:
-Weapons used by proper factions. BC2 went the COD way and made everyone use the same weapons. I wanna see properly-issued weaponry.
-Useful allies. This is the problem in games these days. Friendly AI always make you do all the work and stay behind. And when they do help, they always miss.
-More factions. I’m tired of the standard USMC and RUS.
-DLC Campaign. I’m sick of multiplayer games getting like fucking four addons and not a single one for singleplayer.
What it doesn’t need:
-Only 2/4 of the weapons in campaign. This is why I hated BC2, only 16 weapons.
-A better sniper mission. BC2′s sniper missions were bullshit.
-No gay humor. I can’t stand it.
-Unusable vehicles. They still showed up on the minimap, as if they WERE usable. They’re unusable in sequences where we need them, and they’re usable in sequences where we DON’T need them(take Snowblind for example. The trucks at the beginning are usable but don’t appear after the cutscene. Then, they force you to go the COD way and get to the end of the level on foot, THROUGH A MOTHERFUCKING BLIZZARD, bullshit).
-And last but not least, no cameos of the Bad Company characters. I don’t wanna see another thing from Bad Company for the rest of the series. That includes the Tracer Dart.
I believe you’ll get everything you want, as far as I can tell.

Both battlefield and cod fanboys can’t understand that you can’t compare cod to battlefield there both great at what they do! When bf3 and mw3 come out I’m gonna get both cause there different and have something to offer.Just cause their both fps’s doesn’t mean you can compare them. But that’s just my opinion.

nice video,dunno if its just me,but the gun sounds and gun recoils didnt seem to be fully synched,and in the end with the 50.cal the bullets in the gun didnt move in to the gun itself

Often times when more than 1 automatic weapon is fired close to each other, the multiple sounds from the firearms often counteract each other so much that you can hardly hear your own gun being fired. And since DICE got the gun sounds from real weapons, it comes into effect in the game. So thats why you hear that the gun sounds doesn’t sync well with the muzzle flashes. (hooray for being an army brat!).
i think the recoil and the bullets are a glitch, it is pre-alpha footage…

hold on… go to where you mount the bakkie (pickup truck) and use the machine gun. the belt (on the right on the machine gun) being fed into the weapon is not, well, being fed.

Ive been playing the whole battlefield series since battlefield 1942 to battlefield 2142 it is freakin` fun to play them.CoD games have unreal things like lets say soldier in iraq kills 25 guys and gets tactical nuke really this is so unreal unlike battlefield.In bf Vietnam you can call in airsupport or aiirstrike whenever u want just tell ur buddys
One question. Why has DICE all but neglected the console community. I have an Xbox 360 and I have not seen one minute of gameplay. It concerns me greatly seeing as I do not have the money to play hit and miss with my video game selection. On the other hand it seems like an ergregiously stupid marketing tecqnique to ignore the biggest pool of gamers out there (Console) and focus on the minority (PC). It is alright to have the PC game be better in the graphic department, I personally could not care less as long as the gameplay is good and looks like the other games on the market. I however cannot stand being kept in the dark. I feel like investing in this game is right choice, but have recieved no reassurance from EA, DICE, or whoever the hell the moron running marketing for the company making this game is. Consumers need to be reassured, bottom line.
