Battlefield 3 Seine Crossing

Battlefield 3 Seine Crossing is a map situated in France, and is the second Battlefield 3 map set in Paris, France, the first being Operation Metro. The map is split into two large parts, divided by the river Seine. There are two control points on each side of the river, and a main control point, and the focal point of many tough battles, on a bridge at the est side of the map. Operation Seine in Battlefield 3 will, like all other maps, support all 4 game modes, including Rush and Conquest.

Seine Crossing layout

Seine Crossing is split into two parts by a river. There are two flags on each side, which are easily accessible by both sides, while the main flag that tips the balance is situated on a bridge on the east side of the map, a bridge with very little cover that is hard to re-take once the enemy has it. The control points of Seine Crossing are: Back Streets, Market Avenue, East Bridge, Canal Courtyard, ad Garden Alleyway.

Seine Crossing tips

Seine Crossing has a big focus on defense. If a team can capture the majority of flags (3 out of 5 flags, at least), they are for the most part easy to defend due to plenty of options where defenders can dig in, including many buildings that can be entered and provide an overview of defensive areas. The map is also very well suited for mortar attacks and snipers, which have plenty of places to hide.

Being an infantry-focused map, there are only two vehicles per team in Seine Crossing: one tank and one transport vehicle.

But if you think of it, Russia is one of the only countries to come close to competeing with US in the sense of technology. Russia has strong guns and vehicles

i think the EU could take in Russia, Germany and Britain have some of the most advanced tanks in the world and as this is a fictional conflict Britain would have scrapped trident 2 nukes, for 3 new QE2 class aircraft carriers making 5 altogether and some more destroyers, tanks and planes

I take it’s a liberating thing. There might be some other reasons why U.S. forces need Paris but more than likely it’s just to liberate the French from the Russians.

Love this map. Not Better than Caspian border or Damavand Peak, But still pretty Awesome. Perfect for shooting RPG’s at walls above the enemy so you can get an easy double/triple kill when it lands on them ;)

BTW: Can you Destroy the Bridge? I’m guessing No but just to make sure…

well i have finally found out when the russians occupied Paris, it was in Bad Company 2(or 1)! first battlefield 2 that plays out in 2007 in the middle east fighting the PLA and the MEC which the help of russia and then 2-3 years later the russians attack MEC again but this time the US of some reason whants to help the MEC and the EU that is also attacked by the russians, they take over the MEC but then stops the attacks. then n 2011-2012 they go again but this time they go for the US because they helped the EU and the MEC in the first war. they try to attack it from the south america but fails and mean while they continue to attack europe and manage to take over france. then when the “secret weapon gets taken down they go to alaska to invade canada and the US but an the north of US the get stuck and get forced to pull back. now in 2014 the PLR that holds up at the iran/iraq border goes for terrorist attacks against the US and then the US goes against the PLR in open war by bombing Terahn. the PLR counters it and the US sends 50 000 marines in to open warfare. Now i can not say more because i have not played the whole campaign! but i guess they invade the russian occupied Paris and takes down the PLR :D

Humvee only on PC. I feel your pain. My favorite vehicle is the humvee and this map would be better. It is already my favorite though.
