APCs — Armored Personnel Carrier –, or IFV, short for “Infantry Fighting Vehicle”, have been in all Battlefield games since Battlefield 2, and usually seat 4-6 soldiers. Battlefield 3 will featured one main APC per side: the LAV-25 for the US forces, and the BMP-2 for the Russian side. On top of that, there is one anti-air APC per faction in Battlefield 3 as well.

The LAV 25 is an eight-wheel APC introduced in 1983 for the US Army as an armored transport vehicle capable of transporting 9 soldiers, 3 crew and 6 passengers. The LAV-25 is the main infantry fighting vehicle for the US faction in Battlefield 3.
BMP-2

BTR-90

BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Hello? Seriously, anyone actually notice that BMP-2 look absolutely strange, its like an APC being covered with a slope outer shell…….then mount a BMP looking turrent? Hopefully this will not be the BMP-2 that come out in Battlefield 3, if it is I’m gonna hang myself x_x
I am a Cav Scout we have two versions of the Bradley M3A3 is not IFV but CFV(Cavalry Fighting Vehicle) It carries only 2 people but a dozen TOW missiles the main weapon is the 25mm bushmaster which fires AP and HE rounds and then you have the 240C 7.62. The M2A2 which is the IFV has firing ports out the back carries 6 troops in the back but has only couple TOW missiles.
