Battlefield 3 End GameDICE and EA have revealed the first details about the upcoming Battlefield 3 DLC called End Game. The DLC will be the final one for Battlefield 3, and will be released in March 2013.

In the upcoming issue of Game Informer, it’s revealed that End Game and its maps are “designed for high speed combat and action”. The new features include a drop ship which can deploy vehicles around the map, and a capture the flag game mode as well.

Battlefield 3 End Game will include 4 new maps, three new vehicles (including dirt bikes), capture the flag game mode, and more. As mentioned, End Game will be released in March 2013 and will be free to all Premium members, while others will likely pay the same amount as they did for the other DLC: $15.

Stay tuned for more info soon. Check out the full DLC details on the official page.

New York would be awesome . When I saw BF3 wallpaper for the first time, I had that vision . Huge cities like Paris,New York and a great battle within . Of course it would require 128 players instead of 64 but that’s no matter. Don’t hate me guys for saying this but I expected that BF3 multiplayer to be like Modern warfare 2 and 3 single player :)

Just like in BF2, SAW’s and RPK’s were placed at strategic locations looking over roads, and I miss the concept of out capping the team like in BF2, it always results in stalemates between spawn and the first point, I think BF4 should bring that back (and 6 man squad)

OSPREYS!!! Good god that would be cool. They would be great in the AK maps because they’re so huge. It would be awesome to be able to carry around 6 or more passengers. I just hope that we’re going to be able to pilot these transport choppers, I hope they aren’t on rails like the AC130.

Dice still has not fixed the totally broken squad order or comma rose issues. Why would one want an expansion pack?

Majority of players just mess about since they dont even know what a squad order is – probably cause its very hard to see (unlike BF2142). This makes the game very boring and frustrating.

When you call for backup (or accidently notice a request for it) no one knows where the call came from… Thats also assuming you heard the request in english so that you could recognize it. It could point an arrow to where it came from!

Why did a very old game (like BF 2142) do this better than a new game?

BF1942, which was the first Battlefield game, had capture the flag. BF1942 came out in 2002 while CoD1 came out in 2003, so if anything CoD copied Battlefield. On top of that, there were games before BF1942 and CoD that had capture the flag gamemodes.

Here’s the problem with that – anyone can sit here and poke holes into BF3 saying that this is similar to CoD, and that is similar to CoD…the thing is they’re both first person shooters, they both follow the same basic forumla as every FPS out their meaning it all falls down to how these things are executed.

It’s simply a matter of execution – care packages in CoD are just rewards you get for killing x amount of people. Drop ships in BF3 are probably going to be a serious asset to your team that requires protection, you may even have to fight to control a certain flag to keep that dropship going. That requires a lot more effort and teamwork to accomplish which is something CoD can’t say.

DICEA pissed off the remaining vets and ruined any hope for BF4 hype. AK flopped and the neo Battlefield community realizes that a couple maps aren’t going to magically fix every problem BF3 has. Aftermath flopped once everyone realized there was no destruction. Players are returning to vanilla maps because they want to blow stuff up and crush enemies with debris. Now DICE says “hey guys, CTF is back!” Do they seriously expect such a cheap trick to work? I’ll stick to 1942. CTF is amazing. CTF with BF3′s gameplay? No thank you.

MOH was dead on arrival and has only several hundred players online across all three platforms. THQ recently declared bankruptcy, showing that publishers who endorse unfair publishing practices while simultaneously killing development studios that fans love and adore does not go without financial reprocussions. Investors are losing confidence in EA as they continue to struggle with massive flops like MOH, TOR, Origin, and their inability to create new IP. EA is rumored to be searching for potential buyers of IPs or the entire company. DICE may finally be free, and Battlefield can finally rest in peace.

    The future looks great.

TL;DR: “I don’t like Battlefield 3 so I come here to pointlessly complain”

You can keyboard warrior all you want, that won’t change a thing. Some people here like the game for what it is. Yes it subjectively may not be as good as some of the other battlefields but for christ’s sake, go find a new game to play instead of coming here to whine to the people who find the game enjoyable.

I don’t like BF3 for what it is, yet I played it for 400 hours?

Either I’m a closet masochist or you’re just being silly.

If you’re aware of my continued posting on this website, then you should also be aware of why I post. You might think it’s pointless, but I clearly don’t. If I thought it was pointless to post, I wouldn’t post in the first place. I have a dissenting opinion and I feel like sharing it. I use very offensive and pointed language so I get mixed reviews. I’m fine with others enjoying BF3 for what it is. I clearly am capable of enjoying it for the casual shooter it is as well.

I would call my complaints the elephant in the room. I don’t see why your enjoyment of BF3 would be hindered by my complaints, so I speak my mind freely. If you want me to be a bit more positive or constructive, I would gladly write much longer and more informative posts as I have in the past. I have a lot of experience with this series and a lot of love for it too.

I don’t know why you enjoy BF3, but if you like it for what it is with no reservations then I would hope you can sympathize with someone who wants to feel the same way as well. The only difference between us is that I want additional ways of playing and you seem to be inexplicably opposed to me enjoying the same video game as you in a different manner.

“I don’t like BF3 for what it is, yet I played it for 400 hours?”

And yet you still come here to complain every chance you get

“Either I’m a closet masochist or you’re just being silly.”

No one’s being silly here; we’re tired of your constant bitching. From the looks of the thumbs up I got, the majority agrees.

“If you’re aware of my continued posting on this website, then you should also be aware of why I post. You might think it’s pointless, but I clearly don’t.”

          You’re either:
          A. Not too bright thinking that your complaints here have any actual effect
          B. Venting the same thing you’ve said countless times to an audience that simply does not care and is sick of hearing it.

“I use very offensive and pointed language so I get mixed reviews.”

The time that you don’t use offensive or pointed language you still received near or more than %50 downvotes. It’s not the language that people are getting sick of, it’s your constant complaining.

“I’m fine with others enjoying BF3 for what it is.”

Hah. Hahahahahahahahaha. No. Looking at your previous posts, you once stated yourself that you’re upset over the fact that others find enjoyment out of the game in yet another one of your posts complaining about BF3.

“I clearly am capable of enjoying it for the casual shooter it is as well.”

You sure have one hell of a way of expressing your enjoyment with it then.

“I would call my complaints the elephant in the room. I don’t see why your enjoyment of BF3 would be hindered by my complaints, so I speak my mind freely.”

It doesn’t, and yet again you missed the point – you’re constant bitching is what people are getting sick of. You’ve made your points dozens of times now. We get it already.

“If you want me to be a bit more positive or constructive, I would gladly write much longer and more informative posts as I have in the past.”

There’s a fine line and a big difference between constructive criticism and complaining. People who use constructive criticism generally get more positive ratings. What you’ve been doing is far from constructive criticism.

“The only difference between us is that I want additional ways of playing and you seem to be inexplicably opposed to me enjoying the same video game as you in a different manner.”

The difference between us is that there are so many things I wanted BF3 to have that never happened. I still hope those things make it into the next title. But I don’t go around complaining about those things to a captive audience that is getting sick of your complaining. Even if I decided to take my list of complaints and dump them here I would at least make it constructive instead of just bitch to random people that I know don’t want to read a wall of text complaint.

If you were to use constructive criticism instead of constant complaining then maybe, just maybe you would stop getting %50+ negative votes every time you post.

Kraven, are you a reddit retard? You’re telling me that if I got others to upvote spam my comments that those votes would make me more correct?

The quality of ones’ argument has nothing to do with the facts presented. Whether or not I correctly shape a fact to appeal to the masses or to receive criticism does not invalidate its status as a fact. It’s still a fact no matter how many times you upvote or downvote.

You keep relying on the “complaining” argument and it’s become more tired than your accusations. Are you incapable of searching my posts on other articles, eauk, battlelog, symthic, and so forth? I am not going to shit up this website by posting a fucking dissertation on Battlefield just to satisfy your shit tier trolling.

This is an example of complaining: “He keeps doing something I don’t like, make him stop!”

This is an example of an argument: “His actions are detrimental to our success. Here are several reasons explaining how.” Bonus points for citations.

You keep saying I do nothing but complain yet fail to explain how any of my criticisms are mere complaints. I will list the facts behind the first and only statement, because you are such an ignorant shit that you deserve nothing more.

“DICEA pissed off the remaining vets and ruined any hope for BF4 hype.”

10mil+ sales of BF3 yet only 2M sales of Premium. Average player count on PC averaging 15-20k just one year after release. Shutting down EAUK forums to remove veterans from the community. Jerking everyone along with getsatisfaction, symthic balance reports, mordorhq patch suggestions, reddit amas, and a bunch of fake shit to make it sound like DICE cares about you. Lying about charging for DLC as well as the details of premium, then deleting articles and videos as a part of EA damage control. Lying about removing the color filter, banning people for removing it themselves, telling the community they aren’t capable enough to modify battlefield 3. Forcing players to use origin spyware. Scamming players with premium by disabling them from playing the dlc they paid for with premium only servers. Majority of the DICE team quitting over the past four years after EA bought them out in 2006. EAs history with slaughtering developers that they purchase, including Origin, Westwood, Criterion, Maxis, Bullfrog, Bioware, and Mythic. Lying about porting to consoles. Emergence of a brand new 1942 community after it went f2p, new battlefield players getting the experiences that were promised to them in bc2/bf3.

I haven’t even gotten to the gameplay and that was just the first point.

3/10, I can’t believe I actually replied to someone as cancerous as yourself. McFucking kill yourself.

I remember when fault line teaser came out it was amazing I was so hyped up.. I was expecting alot more jets alot more vehicles and yes like said before new york type maps ETC.. the last DLC was pretty boring.. we see the same thing over and over more flag mode’s Do not flame me for any of this but as i said BF3 turned into a disapointment after a while. No need to start a fight, everybody is entitled to their own opinions. Also, you can’t suddenly praise BF3 just because you don’t like Black Ops 2. Don’t judge games based on comparison to other games, solely judge that one independent game. Finally, I play Battlefield, Counter Strike, Halo, and Call of Duty; all while enjoying them equally (actually, I’m slightly biased towards BF). Problem?
