Battlelog is getting more and more features these days. We’ve seen the addition of live score-boards, improved server browser, custom matches, and now a brand new feature lets players select their weapon and accessory loadouts. A new tab is available in the soldier section, which lets players select the weapons, accessories, specializations, gadgets, and pretty much everything else for all classes and all vehicles. The new loadout feature works on all Battlefield 3 platforms. You can even browse what loadouts other players are using, and copy it with just one click.

BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
I was like ‘omgosh nice feature!’ So I messed with my loadout and switched camo and couldn’t wait to get in the game and see that it works!
It didn’t.
Doesn’t include all the camos; with some classes (assault and recon for me) the specs change randomly.
I’d just avoid using it until it’s less bugged.
I think you forgot to press the ‘apply’ button
It worked for me. But yeah, it’s missing some camouflages
too little too late
and on top of that, most of the time it doesn’t even work no matter how many times i click the apply button
piece of shit
Now i can see a possibility in using Battlelog
Quick on the draw, you are not.
It’s okay, we still love ya, BF3Blog.
I’m not trying to sound rude here, but does it really matter?
Great that this has been introduced but i prefer the ingame loadout customization.
I like to use RU guns when I play as RU and US guns with US> Why the hell cant my US load out stay locked with the US weapons and the RU load out stay locked with RU weapons? So then all I would have to change is Camo per map and Specialzation per squad requirements! It seems to me something so simple would be common sense to people who make this stuff for a living. A load Out for every class both US & RU that will stay locked until you change it and lock it again! DuH!!
DUDE! I thought I was the only one that did that! It’s just so much more authentic to use Russian guns as a Russian soldier, and American guns as a US Soldier. And I agree, it’s annoying having to change guns every single game! Medal of Honor let you set up two separate sets of loadouts, one for the US Army team, and one for the Taliban, I don’t see why they can’t have that in BF3 as well.
Yea its a great feature thats been added. Cant wait for armored kill.
I honestly cant see me using it much. Load-outs a lot of times are very circumstantial. I really wish they would make the in game menus much more intuitive. You have to dig so deep just to change one thing its mostly annoying. I think they went the wrong direction with this and should have fine tuned the in-game menu.
Can’t believe this wasn’t implemented sooner. It’s good to know DICE still care enough to be adding features like this.
will….. it will be more useful for PC users more than ps3 or xobox360 users .
Really nice feature ! I ask for this feature since the release of the game.
I don’t understand why they did not implement this feature before but at least they have done it !
Great !
It’d be more useful to fix the load outs and cammo from not resetting in the game.
“copy it with just one click” Really DICE Really?
Wheres the Individuality that you promised us?
Its always a RDS,holo or Kobra sight On each gun theses days, And its always the M16A4, AEK and F2000 which are OP and common…
I use G3/m416/QBZ-95b mostly, been kicking ass with it too, dunno what OP weapons you’re talking about.
Copying someone else loadout is someone that has no originality and is an unenxperienced player….
Although this should have been in the game from the beginning, I’m glad DICE still cares about the community.
But we still can’t change that stupid box-cutter knife…
If i equip new blue digital camo with loadout after do that..i start with specact camo..fix it pls
I was happy to see that feature, cuz I hoped my camo would not be put back to standard every time I log in…….well the battlelog customization did not work. Weapons were different in game, camo was, too!
Seriously, why?
the in-game GUI was developed by a third-party that specializes in consoles, which is why our menus are not intuitive and takes way too many clicks to get to where we need
more important than being able to change loadouts in Battlelog is being able to do so in-game, after death, during killcam (during which you currently can’t even hit Esc to edit options) and/or any time in the game including when you are alive, i.e. after capping a flag you could prone somewhere safe and set up your loadout for your next respawn, stand up and be on your way
Changing camo has no difference, it changes to default in game.
I think it would be cool if you could create and save loadouts and switch to them with a click. Eg. If I played engineer on say siene crossing i would use AT mines. If I played engineer on wake island I would maybe use stingers. Also I would most ikely use a different gun, different attatchments and perks. Soooo, this feature istnt much use because im probably faster at chnging my loadout in game before it starts as oppose to going on battlelog and changing it there while the game is playing out. If that even works mid-game. If I could save loadouts and switch loadout with a click. I would use this. But for now, I struggle to find much use in it.
A 20x scope has been added(on battlelog) for the L96 sniper rifle.. it will be useless due to the big bulletdrop.. it would fit better on the m98b.. but check it out!
battle log sucks in general. why in the hell do i have to have a web browser running, and change in game settings through a web browser. battelog needs to go.
I would like to be able to save different configs for each class. Would be handy for different situations.
It’s all very well bolting new features onto battlelog.
But as my old dad used to say
“a turd rolled in glitter, is still a turd”
Battlelog is a turd
when will all this be updated and fixed in the mobile app?
The camos its missing are the premium ones, and thats cause if you look at them they arent splite like the vanilla camos. with a russian/usmc version, premium camos are faction specific
