EA recently announced more than 1.3 million gamers have upgraded to Battefield 3 Premium. Although it still pales in comparison to Call of Duty Elite subscription which has 2 million subscribers, it seems they are catching up.
BF3 Premium was only recently introduced and 800,000 gamers have upgraded in the first 2 weeks when it was first introduced. If you calculate the revenue, 1.3 million x $50, that’s nearly $65 million not including gamers who may have purchased the DLCs separately. It’s no wonder, they have Battlefield 4 confirmed already.
