BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Battlefield 3′s Battlelog will be getting a new feature soon: the ability to see live scoreboards before joining a server. Many players have experienced joining a game, only to find out that the round is almost over. Or worse, to be met with a message “You team lost”.
Now, Battlelog will be getting live scoreboards so players can check a server’s progress, how many tickets remain, the user scores, and more. The live scoreboards are currently being rolled out on Battlelog for PC users, and as DICE gathers performance and data, more and more players will find the feature enabled.
This is going to be awesome, cuz i hate joining a server just to find out the team i joined looses 5 seconds later.
or you get in and find out that the other team is absolutely raping the team you joined. Gotta love joining and never being able to get out of your own base.
I just experienced this on Xbox.. The other team had 5 level 100s.. LEVEL 100s!.. Wtf type of shizz is that? Worst part.. They were the Admins. 500 ticket count that felt like 50.
the only thing good about the sniper class was mav riding because you could get up high were no one could kill you. and it wasnt like you where cheating and getting 30+ kills every match. it balanced out the two shot kill for snipers

Now there are going to be stat-wh0res dropping into every server where low ranked people are playing, in order to pad their stats.
Tickets remaining is really all we needed to see.
I’d say I can finally join a server that players with the same ranks play on. Great feature.

Nope, just too CoD for me. Ever since Modern Warfare K/D Ratio has been associated far too much with CoD to the point that I don’t want to see it in any Game that doesn’t use CoD Multiplayer.
So much to say/Dodek – IMO should have the ability to Level Cap (Servers which allow Levels 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 etc), so at least Max Levels can play with other Max Levels but yeah…. People would likely complain they’re being blocked out of Servers or whatnot.
K/D is a very weird stat anyway. I’m really not sure how it says anything about someone playing in a team objective-base game. Most of the excellent players I know willfully die to occupy and distract. Many games are won this way. It’s quite easy to bait 4 people, especially when all they want is to get another kill for their stats.
At least one thing is good about stat whores. They are pretty easy to manipulate. But yeah, BF never needed this stat.
If u see someone with 50/2 KDR, PROBABLY there is a cheater in the server.
So KDR can help
yea or someone who is using the right weapon on the right map with the right teamwork. That would be a normal score if people ever f*cking revived anyone at all.
Maybe the game will be out of beta by the time of the DLC.
I know i’ll catch flack for this, but it would be cool if they could implement something like this into consoles. Heck I would be happy just to see a ticket count of the current game when you use the server browser. I’m sure they could pull it off if they’re adding this feature to battlelog.
Nah, they should drop the quit rates. I have 28% just because I leave a game after joining a losing game…
Or maybe you should just put forth your best effort regardless of where your team is at when you join? Just a thought…

If u are going to get the loss either way, just play it thru! Rush mode u can still win if your good
…because winning a game is more important then trying to get a losing team back on his feet? or you’re just a shitty player? Or do you care more about your win/lose score/k/d ratio that you don’t want to sit in a losing team?
Winning is easy but winning with a shitty team is even better.
Sidenote: getting assraped in metro means you won’t get out in time to change stuff, I can give you that. All other maps, easy.

seriously guys if they want to encourage teamplay they should remove k/d ratio system from the game, not increase the suppresion as high as fuck..
Ya, I don’t like k/d being shown.And if you have been shot as many times as me, the bullets flying past you shouldn’t scare you anymore.But I guess they make you more scared for some reason.
I personally think kill/death ratio is a good thing to be shown, but it also has a down side to it.
When you see someone with 1-2 deaths, and 150+ kills…then you know that’s some guy with a full blown engine hack spamming his “kill everyone” button. K/D ratio showing can help you avoid joining servers with hackers like that which can be quite nice.
And like someone else already said; it gives you a fair indication of how good the other team is doing. If you see some team with an average of 30+ kills, and the other team only have 5 to 10…then it’s safe to assume that some major stacking is going on.
My point is that yes, it may bring in those annoying “Oh hey! Bunch of low levels with low K/D ratios! /join” but they aren’t as common as most people think.
But the up side is that you can avoid MUCH worse things besides annoying level 100′s who like to join “easy pickings” servers simply by looking at the Kill/death ratio; you can see if someone is blatantly hacking, if teams are stacked, and if one team is simply completely destroying the other to the point where it simply wouldn’t be fun to join.
I’d take the risk of having high levels joining a server just because some team has a low K/D ratio any day over not being able to see blatant hacker scores, obvious team stacking, and one poor team being completely destroyed by the other, all of which are much much more common than your typical high level looking for “noobs”.

Long as K/D Ratio persists in Games, there will always be people who focus on only that.
Good points, and i agree the K/D ratio should remain.
However they should decreses the points you get for each kill. Honestly you get more point by killing then working as a team. In BC2 the 50 point/kill worked well. But this is not Cod, this is battlefield so I think people should not get ANY points for kills.
I think the only things that should be shown in Battlelog are the tickets remaining for both fractions. K/D and player rankings maybe, there are downsides to both

The Oasis map (I think this is orginally from BF2) was an awesome map too.
Yeah thats great and all, but im on console and Battlelog is basically redundant to me, im not going to sit on the laptop and the 360 at the same time… ticket counts or elapsed time would be good in the server browser though…

oh and in game stats with the detail of bf3stats.com in the menus as well please… the amount of info we get in the menus right now is pathetic…
I play on a 24 inch PS3tv with my other 24 inch computer monitor right next to it. As a console player I find battlelog super helpful in keeping track of my weapon stats as I’ve been working on mastering each weapon. Finished my PDW/R, P90, and MP7 the other day.
Not sure who was bitching about RECON class but they can go to hell.. I did a 100-47 on a high ticket match the other day with MP7/G18 combo. You just need to learn how to play your class within your squad/team if you’re having trouble. Remember, Battlefield is first and foremost about teamwork!
