BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
DICE is going to release a minor PC patch for BF3 on Feb 14th that will address some of the crashes that frequently occur when playing BF3. As quoted from battelog:
The update also includes support for the upcoming Intel “Ivy Bridge” product line and performance improvements on AMD Radeon 7xxx series graphics cards.
Here is the list of issues fixed in this update
Support for Intel’s new Ivy Bridge product line (as yet unreleased)
Fixes for two reproducible client crashes:
Operation Firestorm- Conquest Large – Fixed a client crash when users spawn in certain vehicles.
Canals – Rush – Fixed a client crash at the 2nd set of mcoms if the player drives a vehicle into the vicinity of the exploding rocket battery.
AMD Radeon 7xxx series performance improvements
Hopefully, this patch will address some of the complaints by gamers regarding frequent PC crashes.

What about the simpler crashes? Yesterday I was simply running along by the side of the last warehouse in Kharg, and a helicopter flies over, I get that strange repetitive last sound effect and my game freezes.
what the ….. after installing the patch i got problem with pb LOL! then i went to the fourms and found alot of ppl have the same problem also! got kicked for the servers after first few seconds…

a minor PC patch ? cool so when ather thinks will be fix in game ? not sure what to think about but i don’t like how EA & DICE treat pc players. Ahh new DLC ? any one anything about?

WTF is this? I thought they are going to release something bigger, I remember all the fixes that BF3Blog mentioned in their articles, DICE screwed us again, I’m starting to regret buying this. If BF4 is going to be like this I’m never going to buy a Battlefield game again, just gonna stick to much better BC2 and BF2.

*yay* another “small fix” that might kill some pc’s, does not adress the other problems we have and has “only” 4Gb in size… as allways.
LOL , there DICE goes again, doing the absolute minimal, when this game requires constant updating….wheres the aggressive DLC that was talked about a week ago… is this again, a small “fix” to try to get us to forget about the real issues
So the patch came out and it seems like it broke the game. People can’t seem to connect to the game at this time. Way to go DICE. You’re starting to loose it big time. Do you have a quality control team at DICE? If not, i’d highly recommend hiring at least 1 guy. My god. What have you become? Please hire the original BF1942 and BF2 BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only think keeping me playing bf3 is the chance of a large patch and DLC
If your bf3 experiences screen freezez/crashes. Try UC/OC your graphics card. (Underclocking/Overclocking)

why haven’t DICE made the DLC announcement yet its been almost two weeks since the post on this site! :epicfuu:
So I guess no NYC event to tell us of future DLC like the rumored All American map pack?

The new patch has been released and they’re now working hard towards a fix for the patch. Good lord.
Don’t worry, we will have more updates on the upcoming patches soon.
They made a twitter post saying they are working on a fix for the corrupted memory error which no one on here seems to have luckily.

BF3 is pretty much dead. People still play BF2 today, do you think BF3 will have the same lasting power?
I can’t find more than 4 full servers on Battlelog. There’s currently only 1 full hardcore server. Later on tonight, when everybody is home from work and school, there might be 5 full servers, tops. Compare that to MW3. In fact, I’m pretty sure there are more populated Quake 3 servers than BF3 servers.
Say what you want about MW3, but at least you can talk to your team mates. That right there is more teamwork than BF3. How DICE expected teamwork without VOIP is beyond anyone.
