BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
If you’re playing Battlefield 3 on the PlayStation 3, you might have run into an issue with VOIP communications. DICE have managed to find and fix the error, which will be applied in a patch scheduled for release on February 6.
However, if you own a particular Bluetooth PlayStation 3 headset — the SLEH-00075 Bluetooth Headset — you’ll need to take some extra steps to fix the issue. DICE advises to do the following:
Go into settings -> Accessory Settings -> Manage Bluetooth Devices -> Press TRIANGLE on headset – Information -> High Quality Mode (Enable high quality mode).
If the issue persists, go to Accessory Settings -> Manage Bluetooth Devices and delete all registered Bluetooth headsets. Then repeat the above steps. This should fix the PlayStation 3 VOIP issue with the particular headset.

I’d love to hear from DICE what the problem was. I mean, particular headsets are affected more than others? System level settings influence the problem? This was obviously some pretty bizarre shit.
Some of it had to be on the backend. I’m noticed an improvement over the last few days.

i play on console and i LOVE the battlefield series i have all the old BF games on pc all the way up to BF2 and its expansion packs….i just dont have enough money to buy a good PC for BF3….just because someone cant afford something dosent mean they dont like it.

Not all of use just started playing battlefield on console. I’ve been playing since Battlefield 1942 on my PC. Even BF2/SF. Just cause I/we play on consoles now doesn’t mean we aren’t fans.

Finally! Every time I’m in a squad with 3 other people, usually I can only hear one person @ a time which makes teamwork close to impossible.

Why would you do that? It happened in bc2 and there it was way easier…
Isn’t the MAV road killing intentional? From what I noticed, you have to hit them in the head/upper body to kill them and you need significant speed, at least that’s how it is on the consoles.
Can you please fix whiny complainers who want to nerf everything that kills them ?

The only way to “fix” the MAV roadkilling is to perhaps replace it with the UAV from the BC games. IMO the only reason people use the MAV is to roadkill, which isn’t what it was intended for.
i use the MAV to support mortar teams and to help cap bases by spotting people….like the way is supposed to be used!
I use it like this as well, but I also use it as a distraction element, and if i happened to land on their heads while I was distracting, better for my team…screw the whiners…learn to dance…
In war there are men who fight on the front lines and those who sit in the back and make sure meals are made, mav drivers are the inventory control clerks of battlefield. I dont mind you mav drivers and mortor droppers, and the guy who sits so far back behind your own spawn that he puts up a spawn beacon behind us, so that I have to actually run through my spawn before I get to where I would have spawned in the first place without you. I just don’t care if you want to follow me around with your mav, snipe from the back of the spawn, or mortar from the safety of our spawn. Just expect if I see you my own team or not, I may trip and a grenade may fall out of my back pack

Well you’re going to have to wait longer, DICE takes their time with new BF releases if not being pushed by EA to release it early because of the next COD. What made BC2 so good IMO, it came out after the CoD MW2 release date and they didn’t rush it.
