BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The Back To Karkand DLC brings something new to Battlefield 3 (in addition to new maps, weapons etc.): Assignments, which is a new way of unlocking the new weapons found in Back To Karkand. Here’s the full list of Battlefield 3 Assignments that you need to complete in order to unlock all ten Back to Karkand weapons:
FAMAS (“Best Friend Forever” assignment)
- 10 heals
- 10 revives
L85A2 (“Professional Russian”)
- 100 kills with assault rifles
- 20 kills with grenade launcher
- Win 5 rounds of Squad Deathmatch
MP5 / HK53 (“Fixing it”)
- 10 repairs
- 1 kill with repair torch
QBZ-95B (“It Goes Boom”)
- 50 anti-tank rocket kills
- 5 conquest round wins
- Destroy 1 enemy vehicle with repair torch
QBB-95 (“Let It Rain”)
- 20 kills with light machine guns
- 2 mortar kills
QBU-88 (“Specops”)
- 20 sniper rifle kills
- 5 laser designator assists
MG36 (“Keep Your Head Down”)
- 100 kills with light machine guns
- 50 suppression kill assists
- 50 ammo resupplies
L96 (“Creeping Death”)
- 50 headshots
- 50 spot assists
- 5 knife kills
PP-19 (“Familiar Territory”)
- Capture 10 flags
- Arm 10 MCOM stations
- Play 2 hours on Strike At Karkand
Jackhammer / MK3A3 (“Scarred Veteran”)
- 10 kills with PP-19
- 10 kills with BTR-90
- 5 kills with DPV jeep
- Play 2 hours on Gulf of Oman
- Play 2 hours on Sharqi Peninsula

I love this sort of stuff that makes you switch up the way you play-style for rewards. Halo Reach does it very well. That said I think there will be a few too many engineers chasing tanks with their repair tool for the QBZ; I know I’ll be one.
Why chase tanks if you can just fry an enemy infantryman from behind?
One less dogtag, but one more gun.
Torching an enemy is not as easy as you think once you start torching them from behind they will turn around and fuck you up instantly. I tried many times to this so I can get the HK53. I finally got it today and the gun is amazing.
Torch the head for massive damage!
No, really, all weapons have +100% damage to the head.
lol I did 3 guys in a row…. on the roof of tv station (sharqi) It’s more harder to destroy a vehicle….. Since today I got all the BTK weapons. But 2 guns have a glitch mg36 and QBU-88 on ps3!
easy peasy to do this assignment, i guess we battlefield 3 player can only unlock that for just a 15 minutes but cod players……….100000000million years?
They force you to use Noobtube and play shitty Rush if you want new guns? that’s really silly, rest seems fine…
I agree that’s kinda stupid, having to play certain game modes. I don’t mind the grenade launcher though, it does take SOME skill (except on metro)

Except you can use buckshot on M320.
and they make you play squad deathmatch, deathmatch just takes the point out of playing BF there aren’t any objectives or enough vehicles

I have to play Squad Deathmatch to get the L85A2? Seriously? I thought this is Battlefield .. now I have to play those “non battlefield” modes to get one of my all time favorite weapons?
I think all the unlocking is awesome but.. being forced to play something you don’t like to get something you do like just sucks in my opinion.. Ah well.. won’t be able to do much about it, eh? At least the HK53 and MG36 don’t force you to do stuff you don’t like.
I guess I can get along without the L85…
I already got the FAMAS and the L85A2, now working on getting the MP5 and the QBZ-95B :] FAMAS got a crazy good f.rate, but watch your mags! You will go dry real fast. 900 rpm
personally i prefer the L85a2
U have to do these in order? Going for kills with a repair torch, That’s really gonna take people away from objectives trying to get stupid kills!
why is everyone so focussed on must-have-guns-in-least-amount-of-time?
Just play the freaking game, when the opportunity arises, you kill with the torch, it’s not that hard, any knife opportunity will give you a torch kill too if you just know a bit how to.
I just think the unlockchallenges except for the jackhammer are WAAAY too easy. I mean come on:10 heals 10 revives? that’s one round and you have it…
20 kills and 2 mortar kills? max 2 rounds and you have that too…
some of the assignments are pretty stupid. Brace yourselves more noobtube, mortar and rpg spammers coming. and you cant even be mad. they have a reason this time.
and laser designation thing is hard to get if youre playing with randoms.
It’s not as hard if you play rush on karg island or operation firestorm. Everyone used SOFLAM on those, even in public servers.
can man finish the assignments before the 13th ?
So far ive unlocked the famas,qbb95,mg36 and the pp19 the qbb and the famas come with 12x scopes and bi-pods the pp19 is a beast and you can play on the standard maps and still unlock assignment weapons. well played dice
I like how it promotes teamwork for rewards! They should do that more often and as a DLC do this with weapon packs.
Great, l85 is going to be nearly impossible to get in the US… no SDM servers…
They may be dead now, but wait when B2K comes out. Everyone will hop on SDM so it will be lively for some time. First week B2K comes out, hop all over SDM before it dies back down.
someone else having troubles with destroying an enemy vichile with a repair torch?
Yea every time I get close someone blows it up although I’m not blaming them for trying to kill the tank.
Ya everytime I try to destroy the vehicle it backs up and shoots me or the guy gets out and I start repairing it on accident.
I guess i was really lucky, i was on Caspian Border, there was a tank in the forest then me and another random guy teamed together with our torch and i got the kill
If you guys can’t do it i suggest to do it in a hardcore server 
I got killed like dozens of time trying to run after tanks with the torch lol.
Is a great expansion pack and fun!! but dice needs to stop messing things up with limitations, thats why i cant stand them! like the setup for B2K is jacked up! u choose conquest on the filter menu then it will take u to conquest assault automatically?? um ok what if ppl dont want to play conquest assault!! or i want to play more than 3 flag maps, sometimes it will take me to them or sometime it will rotate it to 5 flags!! like dice was that lazy to put 1 option in the filter of CQ or CQA seperately”, or “CQ small” or “CQ large” so we can know what were bout to play b4 we go in the server, its common sense and less frustrating and easier, hope dice fixes this asap!
Oh and wake island always had 5 flags its whole life and was fun that way, and now only the trend of 3 flags? wow ok dice, whatever u say!
Did any one do the lmgs yet my mg36 is fucked my guy holds it in the air n when I aim down the sights it either zooms into his arm or it’s just nothing in front of my

Got to quick match. The same thing happened to me with the QBU-88 all I did was just leave my game, went to quick match and I was fine.
@BF3FTW mine still does it it’s annoying support class is my most used class and it fucks up hopefully they’ll fix it
What you two just described is a glitch with the MG36 and QBU-88 on the back to karkand maps. Basically use those two weapons on vanilla maps and you’ll be fine.
