BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
According to numerous reports, the PC version of Battlefield 3 has been leaked on various torrent sites. So far it’s only the Russian version of Battlefield 3 that has been leaked, and according to those who have tried to download it, the installer and in-game languages are set to Russian. Only the singleplayer portion is supposedly playable, with a “crack” available to bypass Origin and Battlelog (which is required on PC to play Battlefield 3). However, some are reporting virus and trojans bundled with the release as well.
The game weighs in at just under 10GB, and appears to have been leaked by one of the Russian retailers who got an early batch of games. Game piracy and early game leaks are nothing new, but it’s still sad to see a game leaked over a week early, especially a game we’re all eagerly waiting for.
honeslty if you think pc is so great than play on pc, do you think telling everyone that consoles are inferior is going to make anyone go out and piece together a rig? no and for those that cant peice a pc together it does cost a grand maybe more to run bf3…take all of your pc elitest attitudes and play by yourselves. its obvious more people prefer consoles. and 2 i dont know about anybody else but why would i DL a russian release if i cant understand anything they say? instead of just waiting for the 25th and getting my pre-order (for ps3)?
you can make a pc that has BF3′s recommended requirements for $520 and if you want to run minimum probably around $300

no, DICE has said that the pc version on low settings is “similar” to the console version of the game but they said some shadows and other things may actually look better on console than pc on low. I don’t know why you are getting so worked up, it will look great on ps3/360.
that doesn’t make much sense console running Dx9 will look better than running PC in low with Dx10 as the minimum Direct X to run the game? Can you post a link of where they said this?
The ps3 is only marginally more powerful than 360, sony has nothing to do with holding back 32 players. If DICE could put 32 players on ps3,they would be able to do it on 360.

First of all, consoles WON’T get more than 24 players. It’s not possible with all the destruction/physics/dynamic world/vehicles and so on. You have to understand that the consoles have 6 years old hardware which isn’t capable of todays graphical standards. If you want more than 24 players, you’d have to sacrifice the quality of the game’s visuals.
Second, the PC’s medium settings are way better looking than the graphics of this console version. Did you see the Beta medium? It was already stunning although they’ve used an 1 month old build. The consoles are at PC low settings. Without the ability of high res/AF/more than 2x MSAA/QSAA/FSAA/FXAA.
It doesn’t matter. If someone prefers to play on a console, he should keep doing it. Same goes for the PC.
Also consoles don’t run the required dx10 for PC low. So its really hard to compare consoles to PC low because of the big difference between Dx9 and Dx10
well you will at least know who has the leaked game when you see them playing one week early on your servers from the US

The troll festival that this has turned in to is ridiculous. Let’s all look back, why are we buying this game?… For entertainment, yes? Ok so now let’s see, if I’m entertained by my version of the game should I give a rats ass about the other if it is better or worse? No, it’s none of my business and I need to learn to tone down the superiority factor in my speeches of vague statistics and opionated comments. This is a game, not a troll festival. Do we want our community to be comparable to a town full of twelve years olds? No. Do we want to present ourselves as twelve year olds? No. So stop making yourselves look foolish and play the game and enjoy what it was designed to do, entertain us.
It’s good idea to get singleplayer before 25th oct. to play it, enjoy it and after singleplayer to jump into the midle of Battle!
p.s. May be if you (US and all world) will stop making us (post soviet area) like badboy in your games, may be than we will buy more and pirating less.

This article is stupid. Russian game DVDs are sent out to retailers earlier than in other countries; this is why we always see Russian leaks before the game is out. The thing is, there is no crack available so downloading this will only get you a head start on pre-loading.
Once again, there is NO CRACK. You cannot play BF3, single player or multi-player, until release.
Whats the point of downloading a pirate bf3 if you can only play singleplayer. Get the oryginal multi is where all the fun starts

Who cares if it’s leaked anyway? They’re only going to be able to play it in single-player mode. Yeah, have fun with that. Even with a crack, the game doesn’t have an in-game server browser.

the game cant even be cracked to play at all. so really this leak is a nonleak….. the game is locked down pretty tight and would also require origin to be hacked as well.

Before the 25th, it just isn’t. This is coming from some of the best in the hacking/cracking community. You will not see a crack before the 25th. No matter what other semantics you want to argue, that much I assure you.
i was a media pirate and honestly between gamefly and netflix theres no point anymore free games are fun until you cant play MP on any of them unless risking being banned
pirated games were prob. fun back in the late 90′s – early 2000′s because a lot of games were not online back then to some extent. N64, PS1, dreamcast, etc. while with the PC it was more or less fear and or slow speeds/bad connection. so, SP was more or less the norm if you will. now, it’s shifted to online. I mean look at comcast offering cheap internet to familys on assisted living and what not!
Online has pretty much become required for a LOT of things.
Lets just end this whole console vs p issue once and for all. Which came first? The PC or the Console? Who the hell cares, the calulator has them both beat by centuries, and lets face it their both just expensive calulators when you get down to it.
