BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
A limited Battlefield 3 Alpha Test is currently undergoing, and BF3Blog has received a ton of footage and screenshots from a few of the alpha participants. In all, we’ve got a few large videos totaling about 35 minutes of gameplay + over 150 in-game screenshots. For starters, here’s 50+ screenshots of Battlefield 3 Alpha Test, some from the leaked videos, others taken by alpha participants. Regarding the videos in our possession, we’ve emailed developer DICE and are awaiting their reply — so whether we publish them on BF3blog or not depends on that. But for now, enjoy the screenshots. There isn’t much we haven’t seen before, but it’s nice to see it in high resolution.
UPDATE: We’ve gotten word from DICE and they’re against publishing the footage. While there’s still plenty of alpha footage on YouTube and other sites, we won’t be publishing any of our videos. Sorry to our readers, we know you really wanna see and we’d love to share it, but for now, we’ll respect DICE’s choice.

from what I see on twitter, they are clearly aware of the leak, but then again I’m sure they knew it would happen, I’m not surprised to be honest. But from what I read they wanted them to be leaked, so who knows…. they wanted us drooling lol

Well from the screenshots i’ve seen, I saw “Press R to pick up” which was interesting because it look like you can pick up and drag peoples characters. Another thing I saw from the pictures was the ability to change your guns’ barrel, a feature we all saw from Medal of Honor.
Pretty sure that’s not it. If you look closely enough there’s a gun underneath him. This is actually how Dice is going about solving the controls conflict that happened in BC2 when you try to interact with the MCOMs but instead you would pick up one of the 20 guns that a bunch of dead people littered in front of it.
Haha, God that was so annoying. Although I don’t how much help it is making it the same as the reload button. I hope that changes.
It’s actually quite easy. tab reload button to reload, hold reload button to pick up weapon.
It actually shows in that screen shot. “Hold R to pick up”

Up the subject of MCOM’s reminds me of all those time my team could’ve won, only if I could disarm the station instead of picking up another weapon. Please DICE, I dont want to see another MOH. And did you guys hear the next MOH game will use Frostbite 2? Then it’s going to be Battlefield + Medal of Honor vs CoD!
Yeah I noticed that Heavy Barrel screen too, so im guessing the three attachment slots might be barrel, optics and maybe stock or the clip, not sure…
Could the heavy barrel be for less recoil? What do you guys think? We know it’s not to do more damage because DICE clearly stated that there won’t be anything that can boost your damage or health…
id say it be slight increase in accuracy and range, maybe there will be a shortened barrel as well, less range and accuracy but with slightly faster ADS (im talking less than a tenth of a second to keep it balanced)…
dont think they will change the recoil though…
i really could talk battlefield all day long… bloody work getting in the way!
One thing i noticed as well is that taking down an M-COM is only worth 200 points, twice what u get for a kill, i think that should be more like 500, to make the objective way more valuable than kills… just my opinion!
I think that was for arming the M-Com. If it blows up you get another 200.

this map doesnt have any of that, and is the only avilable
No helis and no jets, thats why that map is called ‘Operation Metro-sexual’
We’lll probably have wait for the game to be released before we get to see a map that shows off the full epicness of what bf3 has to offer

someone brought up the little lock thing in the other picture comments so im bringing it up again it could be the level bar to show haw far you have til you level up OR unlock the next attachment for that gun if it goes like that

Don’t worry, I had the same problem.
Guns have been comfirmed for the multiplayer, and they consist of the MP7 SubMachine gun, and the G36c. Ive seen the videos, and so far they look stunning. I may be a ps3 gamer, but Ps3 or Pc, Im getting this game day one. Sorry for any fanboyish feeling I may have left..
I also saw a much better looking version of the HK416. The iron sight in the front isn’t big like the one in BC2. I also found something else interesting, the AKS-74U, you can finnaly choose wether to have a silencer or not. I saw one with a red dot and no silencer!
