EA has announced the release date for Battlefield 3: October 25. Furthermore, they announced that Battlefield 3 beta will begin in September, and the beta will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Battlefield 3 is currently being showcased at E3, where we expect more details on the beta and the game in general.

it said open beta, they might have a closed beta for the MOH owners
Nice, a few weeks earlier than MW3. Also, great to have the beta on all platforms.

oh well, i’m stoked to try this ‘demo’ before the game releases atleast. that’s a good move, i wish more dev’s would do demo’s/beta’s. i’ve stopped supporting a lot that don’t now.
Guys the one month beta period is for the day one patch mate.
Its to fix tiny things. They have had play testers playing it so much it wont need too much input from the public, just weapon power tweaks IMO.
They have their time management planning to a treat i think!
