BF3 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Predicting how well games will do is often a tricky business, the same way it is when it comes to movies. However, some titles you just know will do a lot of business because they’re part of a franchise, and according to industry analyst Doug Creutz from Cowen and Company, Battlefield 3 will sell 10 million copies, he recently predicted in a note sent out to investors. He based his estimate on the fact that the previous Battlefield game, Bad Company 2, sold 7 million units worldwide. Battlefield 3 is a highly anticipated title with a lot of marketing money behind it, so sales should certainly eclipse those of Bad Company 2.
However, Creutz also points out that he expects Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to sell a whopping 25 million copies, 1.5 times more than Battlefield 3. He based his estimate on sales of the previous CoD title, Black Ops, which topped 14 million copies.
Both EA and Activision will spend a lot of money this Fall marketing their games, with EA’s CEO repeatedly saying that Battlefield 3 is designed to specifically compete with Modern Warfare 3. EA intends to spend $100 million in advertising on Battlefield 3.
Doesn’t matter if MW3 sells 1.5 times as much as BF3, that just means there are 1.5 times as many idiots out there than those of us who actually care about quality in our games…
Lol Iv’e only seen one person playing that game since it came out and still a bunch of people playing CoD, believe me i played BF and it’s boring as hell.

Call Of Duty MW3 is just MW2 with a new story line and the only i can do is call for an airstrike.

BF3: Sure The runway is there and your plane here. Oh , i forgot they dont have runways where your game comes from.
I think there equall but totally diffrent , Battlefield got the planes and heli’s where u can get in and drive.
Hopefully , CoD will get better because to me Battlefield was number 1 since day 1

MW3 will sell much less as IMO gamers have got tired of COD retread games. There will always be twitch-shooter fans, but most people want something deeper than a teaspoon.
The thing is this guy isn’t factoring the people that bought black ops realized it was shit then vowed not to buy another repackaged mw game with a few new things added onto it, its bs. Many mw gamers have already made the switch with many more to come, I predict that the number of sales will be equal and in the long haul bf3 will win out.

Eh, BF3 and MW3 are two competitors, the two biggest FPS games in the world. Of course they’ll be compared. Endlessly.

I’ve played mw2 and black ops and any one who buys mw3 is basically buying a map pack for mw2 colliding with homfront. Mw3 = money wasted x3
